Its May, and its been terrible so far. exams and revision have dominated, but thats OK, the price i pay for leading a student lifestyle. i think the exams are going alright so far and i only have one left...the dreaded Land Law. How anyone could do this for a career i just dont know.
Music wise ive been listening to a lot of Chris Clark as usual, and Foals have suprisingly cracked my playlist despite being very mainstream. i just like it, i think its nice. how in depth. ive just got the new Death Cab for Cutie CD which my sister is very excited about. It seems a bit too poppy right now, but then i didnt like Plans for the same reason on first listen and thats a good solid album. I've been playing basketball everyday to releive stress from being sat indoors all day. Ben has been playing with me as has Andy and Carl occasionally, everyone is getting much better at the game.
Summer looms! and im kind of looking forward to it. im not enjoying my University house at all anymore, i need to leave it. its so difficult to ever get to sleep. Summer should be strange... i have to write Training Contract applications for the final stage of Lawyer qualification to commence in two years...premature? i agree. and i need to make a significant amount of money, which im not sure how im going to do as yet. It should be nice to be at home again with the comfort and all although i will miss things about University too, its nice in Plymouth.
Im going to buy a new book soon, as soon as i finish my exams in fact. ive really enjoyed The Periodic Table by Primo Levi which was bought for me for Christmas By Jane, its a bit embarassing that it has taken me this long to read it, but hey. that has been brilliant and i think i might purchase his other book which he wrote about his ordeals in Auschwitz. Its either that or Phil Jackson (Ex Bulls Jordan Era coach and current Lakers coach) Spiritual Hoops. He is a wise man. the culturally correct choice is Primo Levi. but im constantly on basketball. tough call.
Al = OUT.
